Patients are seen following referral so their care can remain coordinated with their existing clinical team.
Our specialist sleep physicians offer comprehensive consultations designed to provide your patients with expert clinical assessment, tailored diagnostic referrals, and clear, evidence-based management plans. To improve accessibility, we also offer video consultations—ensuring quality sleep care is available wherever it's needed.
We offer a comprehensive range of investigations, including cardio-respiratory testing and polysomnography (PSG), which will be tailored to individual patients depending on the clinical circumstances. For certain patients, we can also offer the option for postage if travel is an issue.
Comprehensive measurements which can include nasal flow, thoracic and abdominal movements, oximetry, body position
The most direct measure of sleep. Measuring sleep stages, EEG, EOG, EMG, arousals, nasal flow, thoracic and abdominal effort, oximetry, ECG, leg movements, position.
For patients diagnosed with significant obstructive sleep apnoea, we offer a 4-week CPAP trial to evaluate treatment response. Our physiologists take a comprehensive, supportive approach to help patients adjust to therapy. Evidence shows that early intervention with mask fitting and education improves long-term CPAP adherence.
If CPAP leads to symptom improvement, patients may choose to purchase a device. For those who meet eligibility criteria, we also facilitate referrals into the publicly funded CPAP programme.
CPAP isn't suitable for everyone and in select cases, alternative treatments such as mandibular advancement splints or surgery may be considered. Our physicians collaborate closely with Ear Nose and Throat surgeons and dental specialists to ensure patients receive the most appropriate care.
Insomnia is a common and often under-recognised cause of sleep disturbance, occurring both independently and alongside other sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnoea. Despite its high prevalence, it remains frequently under-diagnosed and suboptimally managed. Evidence consistently supports psychological therapies, particularly Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), as first-line treatment.
Our sleep physicians are trained in CBT-I and integrate evidence-based behavioural therapy into routine clinical care. We also collaborate with sleep-trained psychologists for more complex presentations, ensuring a comprehensive, specialist-led approach to insomnia management.
With specialist training in sleep medicine, our physicians manage a broad spectrum of sleep disorders, including central hypersomnolence syndromes (e.g. narcolepsy) and non-respiratory conditions such as circadian rhythm disturbances, restless legs syndrome, and parasomnias. Our holistic approach acknowledges that sleep difficulties are often multifactorial, requiring careful assessment and integrated management.
